Our Philosophy
Southend Walking Football's philosophy focuses on providing opportunities for all over 50s to play football and ensuring general fitness benefits—both physical and mental—for all members. We aim to foster social interaction and camaraderie, reduce loneliness and isolation, and create a welcoming community through recreational and social activities, all while enjoying walking football in good spirits and humour.
Our Coaching Staff
Our coaching staff is made up of experienced and dedicated members who are passionate about sports and about helping fellow members achieve their goals. Our aspiration is to be the first port of call locally, for the over 50s who want to enjoy walking football in an inclusive, safe environment.

Essex Walking Football League
Southend Walking Football Club are proud to participate in the Essex Walking Football League. Our club has teams competing in the Over 60's , 65's and 70's divisions with matches played from May to October. There aim is to provide a fun and social environment for older adults to continue playing the beautiful game.
